DF140A is an in-line four cylinder outboard engine, utilising aggressive gear ratios. By enabling these outboards to swing a larger prop, the combination of lower gear ratios and a large prop delivers good torque and exciting top-end speed and acceleration.

DF140A incorporates an O2 Sensor Feedback System. This keeps emissions cleaner and more stable, reducing the impact on the environment. Also featured is the Suzuki Lean Burn System, which allows the engine to operate on a leaner, more efficient fuel mixture, providing significant improvements in fuel efficiency while still providing the power.

This outboard also features a new engine cover designed with an aggressive, progressive and powerful form that proudly carry Suzuki’s “S” mark embossed on the front.
