This outboard is an in-line four cylinder, which utilises aggressive gear ratios. This enables these outboards to swing a larger prop, and the combination of lower gear ratios and a large prop delivers good torque and exciting top-end speed and acceleration.

DF115B also features the Suzuki Lean Burn System, which allows the engine to operate on a leaner, more efficient fuel mixture providing significant improvements in fuel efficiency while still providing the power. Also incorporated is an O2 Sensor Feedback System. This keeps emissions cleaner and more stable, reducing the impact on the environment.

This outboard also features a new engine cover designed with an aggressive, progressive and powerful form that proudly carry Suzuki’s “S” mark embossed on the front.
